These terms apply to bookings and orders placed on thenarrativestudio.com.

The language of the contract is Hungarian, Romanian or English — whichever language version you booked in. The concluded contract is stored electronically and confirmed by e-mail; by keeping the confirmation e-mail the contract remains accessible to you at any time.
We offer studio photography (portrait, business portrait, product and commercial photography) and studio rental. The duration and price of each service are shown on the booking page in Romanian lei (RON) as the final amount payable. No further costs apply; the provider is not VAT-registered. The contents of the graduation photo packages (number of photos, outfits, duration, seasonal offers) are shown on vegzosok.thenarrativestudio.com.
We decide the style, backdrop and lighting together, on location. After the session you receive a selection gallery, available for 30 days. Selected, retouched images are delivered within 10 working days of your selection at the latest. Retouching covers the usual colour correction and skin cleanup; body reshaping or bespoke graphic work is subject to separate agreement. Additional images can be ordered afterwards.
The technical steps are: choose a service → choose a day and time → enter your details → accept the conditions → pay (for payment on site: confirm the booking from the e-mail you receive). Before you press the payment button, the summary line lets you check the service, the time and the amount payable; you can correct the details you entered by retyping the fields, and change the time by selecting a different slot.
The contract is concluded upon successful online payment or, for payment on site, when you confirm the booking. We confirm the booking by e-mail without delay.
Payment is made online by card on Stripe’s secure checkout page. Your card details never reach us. The full fee is payable at the time of booking.
Where the booking offers payment on site (for example, the graduation session), the full fee is paid in cash at the studio on the day of the session. No deposit is required.
We issue an invoice for the service and send it electronically, by e-mail — by placing the order you agree to this. The invoice is also submitted to the ANAF e-Factura system as required by law.
If you cancel at least <b>48 hours</b> before the session, we refund the full amount or, if you prefer, reschedule the session free of charge.
Within the last 48 hours before the session we cannot refund the amount, but we will <b>reschedule once, free of charge</b>, to an available slot within the next 3 months.
If you do not attend at the booked time without notifying us in advance, the fee is not refundable.
If we cancel (illness, technical failure or another unavoidable cause), at your choice we refund the full amount or agree a new date free of charge. We accept no liability for compensation beyond this amount.
With payment on site, cancelling and rescheduling are free of charge. Please let us know as early as possible so we can offer the slot to someone else.
To cancel or reschedule, simply reply to the confirmation e-mail. For online payments, refunds go back to the card used for payment, typically within 5–10 working days.
For distance contracts, consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Under Article 16(l) of Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance 34/2014, this <b>does not apply to services booked for a specific date and time</b>, such as photo sessions and studio rental — the reserved slot cannot otherwise be resold.
In addition, when booking you expressly request performance of the service on the chosen date and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal ends once the service has been fully performed (Article 16(a)).
If you nevertheless have a right of withdrawal (for example when buying a gift voucher without a fixed date), you can exercise it using the model form below or by any unambiguous statement sent to thenarrativestudio@gmail.com. Exercising the right of withdrawal does not affect the cancellation terms above, which remain available to you regardless.
Copyright in the photographs remains with the photographer, in accordance with the law.
For the delivered images you receive a <b>non-exclusive, unlimited-in-time, non-transferable licence</b> for personal use and your own social media. Business clients receive a licence for the commissioned purpose (website, social media, print and online advertising); uses beyond this, such as a national campaign, are subject to separate agreement.
Please do not crop or modify the photographs in a way that changes the character of the work (for example heavy recolouring or filters).
We show the resulting photographs on our website, Instagram or Facebook only if you gave separate consent when booking. This consent is <b>not a condition</b> of the service, does not affect the price, and can be withdrawn at any time without giving a reason at thenarrativestudio@gmail.com — in which case we remove the images from our online channels.

Our liability in connection with providing the service is limited to the amount of the service fee paid. We are not liable for indirect damage, lost profit, or circumstances beyond our control (force majeure, power cut, serious illness).
The studio’s equipment and fittings must be used as intended; the renter is liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
Nothing in this clause limits the rights conferred on consumers by law, including the statutory guarantee of conformity.
You can send complaints to thenarrativestudio@gmail.com or call +40 751 375 520; we reply within 30 days. Please raise any concerns about the photographs within 10 days of delivery so that we can put them right.
If no satisfactory solution is reached, as a consumer you may turn to the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) and use alternative dispute resolution (SAL) at reclamatiisal.anpc.ro.
Pre-contractual information forms an integral part of the contract and may only be changed by mutual agreement. Changes to these terms do not affect bookings already placed.
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Matters not regulated here are governed by GEO 34/2014, Law 365/2002 and the consumer protection legislation in force.
If you have a right of withdrawal, you can exercise it by completing and returning this model form. Using it is not mandatory.
